    If you don't need a phone line how does it work? - We utilize the newest technology to bring you a high speed fixed wireless Internet service. A small antenna is attached to your house and pointed at our network broadcasting location. Our high strength wireless signal is broadcast from our location to your home. As long as you have a line of sight to our network broadcasting location we can provide you with a cheap and fast Internet service.     Do I have to pay for the antenna? No, we provide a free antenna rental to you for as long as you remain a customer in good standing.

    What do you mean there is no contract? You do not need to sign up for a one year commitment to enjoy our low cost. You purchase one month of residential service and we will bill you at the end of the month. We want our customers to be happy and happiness is not being forced into a long term commitment. By paying for the WISPRENN Internet Service you are agreeing to abide by the WISPRENN Terms of Service, which can be found by clicking the "terms of service" link on our website or by going to "wisprenn.com/tos.html".

    So... Referral Credit? One Free Month?- That's right. If you refer someone to us and they join WISPRENN and continue to be a paying customer for 3 consecutive months we will give you one whole month free. You can refer as many customers as you like and as long as they stay a customer for 3 months, we will have as many terms of service credited to your active account as we can provide. You must have a WISPRENN account in good standing to take advantage of this offer.

    How much is this? It says $56* What does the * mean? Does the * mean there is a hidden cost?- No hidden costs. By signing up for our Automatic Payment Plan we charge only $56. If you would prefer to pay your bill one at a time we charge $60. Take advantage of our low cost discount and sign up for our Automatic Payment Plan at www.WISPRENN.com/payment.html. Your method of payment will be billed automatically eliminating the time and hassle of writing a check for every statement your receive.

    Do you accept credit card? Yes. On our website just click "Payment Center" from the menu. The direct address is www.WISPRENN.com/payment.

    Are there any restrictions? To provide the best possible experience for the most possible customers, and to minimize capacity issues and degradation in network performance, we manage Unlimited high-speed data usage through prioritization. Unlimited high-speed data customers who use more data than what 80% of customers use in a 24 hour period, based on recent historical averages (updated annually), will have their data usage de-prioritized compared to the data usage of other customers at times and at locations where there are competing customer demands for network resources, which may result in slower data speeds. Industrial plan usage data does not count towards Unlimited high-speed data. Industrial plan customers usage is exempt for this calculation. At the start of midnight each night the customers usage status is reset, and this data traffic is no longer de-prioritized.

    Industrial plan users are exempt from this policy.

    What is upload transfer? Upload transfer is the act of putting something on the internet. This service is not designed for file sharing utilities or server hosting which are the primary culprits of high upload usage. File sharing left on can generate enormous amounts of upload bandwidth if not watched closely. Sharing your internet connection with your neighbor can also eat up a lot of your bandwidth and is also against our Terms of Service.

    What if I don't like it? - No worries. If you would prefer not to continue using us for your high speed Internet you can disregard your next bill. You won't be penalized or charged for the next month, but please be aware that we will miss you. All outstanding debt must be paid in full. If you are a enrolled in our auto debit program you will need to contact customer support to inform them that you would like to discontinue using us. If you decide at a later date to resume your Internet service you will not be able to enjoy the $56 dollar price on your first bill and you may have to pay for a re-installation.     How come I have never heard of Wisprenn before? - Wisprenn is a new company that was established in October 2009. We are a a privately owned local small business established by a long time resident of Apple Valley. We are dedicated to providing the High Desert with the latest technology available in order to help the community progress.     What happens if the antenna stops working? The antenna is warrantied for as long as you are a customer in good standing. If the antenna is damaged from malicious intent there is a $115 charge to replace the antenna.

    How secure is it? The connection to the base station uses 256 bit encryption based security. This prevents persons illegitimately connecting to the system. This is stronger security than what is used on ADSL and most cable. The biggest risk to users is attacks that originate from the Internet. We highly recommend that all users employ a virus scanner, spyware scanner, firewall and use safe browsing practices.     What happens to the antenna if I don't pay my bill? Unless you would like us to remove the antenna right away we will normally leave the antenna in its location for 2 months just in case you change your mind. We do this so that you will not have to pay an installation fee again. If the antenna is removed and you decide to become a customer again, you will have to pay for installation. If there is a long period of time that you will be on vacation or unable to use the Internet but would like to continue service when you are ready, please let us know by calling 1.800.913.2342 and we will be happy to leave the antenna in its place to avoid removal.

    Is there anything else I need to know? - To help do our part in keeping the planet green we have a paperless billing system. You will receive your statement in an email address which you will need to provide upon installation or soon after. If you would prefer to receive a paper bill or you do not provide an email address we do send paper statements but there is a $2 charge per statement. There are no hidden fees or extra costs.     What is the WISPRENN Privacy Policy Your privacy is very important to us. Accordingly, we have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose and make use of personal information. The following outlines our privacy policy.
