We recently moved to the area and signed up for the Wisprenn service. About 2 weeks after we had it, I received a phone call from wisprenn staff letting me know my internet wasn't connecting. Needless to say, I was shocked that they were calling me. The gentleman walked me through what could be wrong (i accidentally unplugged it)and the problem was fixed. Has anyone ever been called by a cable, satellite or internet company letting you know of a problem!!! Usually we call, push 29 buttons, get hung up on, call back, push another 40 buttons, finally get a hold of someone who tells you it's the wrong department, transfers you to another person who you wait at least 15 minutes for, they finally answer and you can't understand a word they are saying, get mad, slam the phone down and make your spouse call!! I would recommend wisprenn. They actually answer, have great customes support, you can understand them, and they are friendly. I don't know anything about how fast the internet service is, but I have two teenage daughters who don't complain so that's gotta be good! katie V

Wisprenn is a choice for you who don't have cable or FIOS runing to your house, ie, people like me that are out in a rural area that has few to no services. I had Hughes.net and then WildBlue.net. Both are satellite based, so performance is much less than the numbers show because of the tremendous lag time going through the satellite. SO .... expensive and slow and unreliable (the satellite can't see through storm clouds). Wisprenn, however, gives you a point-to-poimt, consistently fast (no appreciable lag time), and reliable (under the storm cloud cover) connection. Install cost is cheap, they loan you the antenna for free, and prices compete with Hughes and Wildblue for much better performance. I will never go back to Hughes or Wildblue. Here's how it works: Wisprenn has a tower somewhere in the Hesperia/Apple Valley area. When they come out to your house, they will determine if you can see the tower from your rooftop. If they can't, no harm done, they go back home. If they can see the tower, you pay a nominal charge to install the antenna, then pay month-to-month, no contract. Couldn't be sweeter. GO FOR IT! I am very happy with Wisprenn, I was a Hughesnet customer for 3 years and finally found something faster and more reliable then them. You cant find faster service for the price. I would recommend Wisprenn to everybody, their customer service and performance is far and above beyond any others! Casey W

Go for it I had Hughes dot net, DirecWay, and WildBlue.net. All alsatellite and all gave me very poor performance, well below what they claimed I would get. I switched to Wisprenn about a year ago and am ecstatic about the performance - generally exceeds the speed they promise and often better than some plans on Verizon cable. Customer service is excellent and they are local to this area. The whole package is superb. Go for it.This is a welcome service to the high desert. Best alternative to where DSL or Cable is not availbe I live in Lucerne Valley and only have had Dial-Up availble at speeds of about 44kb: The time and effort that Wisprenn put into getting me wireless service to Lucerne Valley went beyond the normal level of customer service that I have ever seen. The speed and reliabilty of service that I have had in my first two months of service has been fantasic!!!. I fully recommend Wisprenn as a alternative or solution to anyone in the Apple Valley-Lucrene Valley area to get a High Speed Internet Connection. Wyrenutt
Best in every conceivable way I have had other internet providers in my area and nothing can compare to the quality and speed of Wisprenn's service. Dealing with the companies customer service and owner have been a real privilege. Awesome Internet Provider We just moved to a rural area in Apple Valley, where we discovered our Internet options were much more limited than we'd anticipated. Having looked at all the major ISP players that were capable of providing service, we were struck by how expensive and how slow their services, actually were. I had Wildblue for the past two years and was never able to play on xbox live because of horrible lag even with their pro package. Now I can play Call of Duty with absolutely no lag! Speeds are always at least 24Mbps with the residental plan. I've even seen it spike at 56Mbps a few times. Thank you for advertising off the hwy near where I live because I probably would have never found out about this fast and affordable internet service without it. - kenneth
